The purpose of this induction is to encourage, educate and advise you on how to work safely and to protect yourself and others from injury/death and illness, whilst working at Mpact Paper Springs Mill. It will educate you on your legal liability as an employee, and provide you with the skills to protect your environment.

• You are required to comply to the minimum Health & Safety standards of:
  The Occupational Health and Safety Act (85) of 1993
• Section 24 of the constitution states that everyone has the right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or well-being and they have the right to have the environment protected, for the present and future generations
• Mpact procedures, e.g. policies, standing Instructions, safe work procedures; permit requirements etc
• Mpact Fire and Safety Rules to Live by
