This is Module 2.2 of the Occupational Health and Safety Legal Framework. It is the 3rd module in the series, and picks up from Module 2.1 where we began to focus on the most relevant sections of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 pertaining to legal liability. Note, that you will only be able to access this module once you have completed Module’s 1 and 2.1, which may be found on your home page.

Each topic comprises a short video lesson and text transcript of the most relevant information you require to effectively understand and carry out your health and safety responsibilities.

This course is run as a blended learning model, with two components:

  1. The e-Learning, theoretical component, and
  2. The classroom, applied, or practical component.

By familiarizing yourself with the relevant theory through this short module, before entering the classroom sessions, you will be primed to get the most out of the applied, and practical classroom sessions, to enhance the overall learning experience.

You will also have ongoing access to the theory, relevant laws, and updated information, through your e-Learning portal. Having this information at your fingertips is invaluable for the everyday management of Occupational Health and Safety at Mpact.

Through the e-Learning portal, you will need to demonstrate your level of understanding, through a knowledge quiz at the end.
